Maud Vezien - Policy & Food Systems Specialist

Maud is an EU policy and law specialist with a focus on aquatic and agricultural food systems. Over the years, she has worked within the EU institutions and at a research institute, co-designing policies and projects with Member States, fishers, farmers and industry stakeholders. She is thrilled to be part of the ALI team to help advance a more sustainable aquatic food system that respects aquatic animal welfare.

Outside of work, she loves surfing, snorkelling, and discovering new cultures.
