Julia Seibel, Head of Corporate Engagement

Julia is the Head of Corporate Engagement at the Aquatic Life Institute, where she leads efforts to engage and support companies in advancing aquatic animal welfare practices. With extensive experience in strategic advocacy, corporate engagement, and communications, Julia is passionate about driving food systems transformation and promoting sustainability.

Based in Brazil, Julia previously worked as the Climate Justice Project Coordinator at Global Witness. She also led corporate campaigns at Mercy For Animals, securing cage-free egg commitments from major Brazilian food companies, and later headed the organization’s plant-based solutions program in the country.

Committed to advancing animal welfare and sustainability, Julia is excited to help elevate the protection of aquatic animals, some of the most overlooked and vulnerable beings in our global food system.
