Jorge Lugo, Software Engineering Manager - Stripe

Jorge Lugo is a Software Engineering Manager at Stripe and holds a degree in Computer Science from Princeton University. He brings a decade of experience in the animal protection movement, where he’s focused on effective giving as part of an "earning to give" approach. Jorge has also previously contributed to community building in New York City to support others interested in impactful philanthropy.

As one of Aquatic Life Institute’s initial donors, Jorge helped support the organization when it was still in its formative stages. He has continued to champion its mission over the years and is excited to contribute more deeply as a member of the board.
